Deep beneath our everyday awareness, we all have an undiscovered self who is the creative, animating and healing inner life-force behind our intuition, imagination and dreams.
It is through learning to attune to the embodied wisdom of our undiscovered self that we can experience this deeper level of reality as an expansive cosmological web in which everything and everyone is connected. In this way, we can create the necessary conditions for living more fully, authentically and meaningfully.
Write Your Undiscovered Self is a five-week programme grounded in Jungian psychology where you will learn how writing & imagination can be used to support transformative growth.
Write Your Undiscovered Self is for anyone who is curious about how writing can be a tool to expand self-awareness and support transformative growth alongside creatives & therapeutic practitioners who would like to learn more about how writing can be a form of healing. No previous writing experience is necessary. All you need is a sense of adventure and curiosity.

Each Depth Writing Seasonal Workshops is a chance to press pause on the business of life and come together with others to connect, reflect, share and write in a friendly and supportive environment with the gentle guidance of Dr Rachel.
Every workshop is themed around the primal energy & archetypal symbolism associated with that month’s season, The workshops are a relaxed opportunity to reflect on your inner and outer life through the lens of a larger, renewing cycle of life, death and re-birth.

Rachel’s course has been deeply nourishing and has re-awakened my creativity. The learning acted as a catalyst for some much needed shifts and brought about some beautiful practices such as starting a dream diary, drawing and object making and other more personal rituals too. I learned so much from Rachel’s course - the writing exercises and techniques were enlightening. I was quite amazed at what they brought up from memory and what they enabled me to write about. It led me to write in a new way without fear or self-doubt. It's heightened my confidence, given me a fresh perspective to view my writing and difficult situations (I've since taught some team members at work some of the exercises we did together). I really enjoyed Rachel’s course. I particularly liked the learning about different aspects of Jung's approach and applying it to unconscious parts of myself. I'm very familiar with my critic but I also found a cheerleader in there who really has my back and I hope to continue to get to know her / them better. I also found a part that is holding a lot of grief/sorrow. I know this part but I don't always connect with it and whenever I do, I feel a bit more freedom inside. I had such a great experience on Rachel’s course. The most enjoyable and beneficial aspects, for me, were the writing exercises themselves, and doing them in the context of a group made it feel like we were all on a journey together. Every session, I turned up feeling awkward and unsure; every exercise, I started off thinking that I was somehow doing it wrong. And without fail, some kind of alchemy occurred and I ended each session and each writing exercise feeling excited and humbled and eager to learn more. I really appreciated how they were set up to guide us in as deeply as we wanted to venture, and I feel they have left me with some good practices to keep trying out and building on. I also really appreciated what Rachel shared about her own practice and how it’s developing - it definitely gave encouragement to keep going and to stay open to the process. Rachel provided thoughtful guidance, rich with contextual layers of experience and a sensitivity embedded with personal insight.
